This Month on Stories That Must Not Die

This month marked our one month lunaversary, and nearing the end of the month we’re coming up on the two month lunaversary. We’re starting to get in the swing of things now. I work your run of the mill 9 to 5 job. She’s in retail and tends to work midday to close three to four days a week. The end of the day, around 10pm, usually consist of me sitting on the couch, reading through the daily online traffic as she stands looking in the refrigerator asking questions.

“Do we still have cheese?”

“Do you want any fruit?”

“Are the dishes in the dishwasher clean?”

“Do we only have the pickle spears?”

“Do you want any herb tea?”

I usually just sit there and wait for the questions to stop. I don’t answer right away anymore because I’ve learned that she’s not always talking to me. She talks enough for the both of us, which is fine, and I find myself answering the questions when she ask “Did you hear me?” We’re still learning about each other and hopefully will continue to do so for many, many years.
